Global PMO – Project Management Officer

We are looking for a team member to support the execution of Asendia strategy by empowering the Project Manager community worldwide and securing projects. This position will give you large vision on Asendia activities, which will help you to ensure the relevant control and visibility over the global project portfolio, allowing just in time decision making.

Your Tasks

 

Ensure Quality Assurance of projects from end-to-end:
You support the project managers in the initialization phase, in particular the establishment of the Business case and the expression of the Business Requirements.
You support the project managers in the implementation phase, such as the delivery of the risks report and the planning.
You secure the risks of current projects (including Business case impacts) by sharing alerts and recommendations with the Board for all projects.
You act as an interface between the regions and central functions and are the first point of contact with all regional PMOs
Contribute to empowering the Project Management network: • You instil best practices and methods in the organization as well as support trainings.
You maintain processes and tools up-to-date and ensure proper internal communication of initiated and closed projects.

Additionally and in job sharing, you attend Asendia's management board meetings where you are informed about all relevant businesses and decisions. You write the minutes and work closely with the members of the Asendia Management Board.

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or similar.
You have 4+ years experiences in change & project management as well as strategy, planning & portfolio management.
You are organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
You are a self-motivated, persistent, and flexible person with the capacity to convince others and move toward a common vision.
Your empathy and listening skills make you excellent at supporting client requirements on the one hand and fulfilling the PMO's mandate on time on the other. You are able to assess situations in order to react properly and provide the appropriate answer.
You are used to work in virtual collaboration as well as in a matrix organisation where the link is not only hierarchical but also functional. You can adapt very easily and your strong communication skills ensure the capability of working with people of various cultures, on varying levels of hierarchy Colleagues can always rely on you.
You are fluent in English. Ability to work in German and French would be an asset.
